To promote the use of email and the internet in model horse photo showing. All photos are mailed to the judges, but results, NewsNotes, and other club business is handled via the club's web site and email. No pointkeeping by members is required -- all points are tallied by the director.

OMHPSA is currently halter-only.

$6 for 1998, will increase for 1999 season
12) Shows Held Photo/Live(Type, How Often, etc.):
Photo shows only, no racemeets. Regular POS starts on the first of each month, benefits are scheduled whenever there is a volunteer judge. Benefits require 5 member entrants to qualify for 2X points.

All monthly shows are included in the membership fee. There are showing and judging requirements to be eligible for the Year End Show.

All club earnings go toward Year End Awards. 1997 prizes included books, notecards, micro-mini horses, puzzles, key rings -- all sorts of fun horse stuff.
15) Club Newsletter (Description, how often published, cost, etc.):
NewsNotes are emailed at least once a month usually very soon after the POS results. They are bare-bones, but contain the information needed to enter the next show and any information the director needs to pass on to the members. Issues for discussion by the members are also listed in NewsNotes. When needed, NewsNotes are sent more frequently.

OMHPSA is the first club specifically planned to take advantage of the internet for model club business. We have no games, contests, or articles -- just highly competitive shows and a comprehensive classlist. We are a club for the serious photoshower!
