To promote the breeds of Scandinavia, that is: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, and we also include Estonia. NHAR accepts ANY crosses as long as at least one parent has Scandinavian blood in him/her.

Just that horses have some "Norse" in them, as stated above...and that they must be registered to be able to qualify for YE awards. You don't even have to own Norse horses to join though!
