The idea for this club came from three people who like to photo show but couldn't find any competitive shows to enter. Our purpose is to have fun, compete, and enjoy our model horses.

Our shows have three separate divisions--OF China/Resin, OF Plastic, and Customized.
7) Do you meet or are you a mail club?
MHSC is primarily a mail club but informal meetings may be held throughout the year.
8) If you meet, where do you meet(City, State, etc.):
Meetings will take place in Florida.

Specific dates and locations for meetings will be listed in our newsletter

FREE!

No dues--just subscribe to our newsletter.
12) Shows Held Photo/Live(Type, How Often, etc.):
Monthly photo shows. A live show is also being planned for 1999!
13) Cost to Show:
FREE to enter the monthly photo show. Live show will have an entry fee-- all live show information will be announced in a future issue of our newsletter.
14) Awards Given (Type, Monthly, Annually, etc.):
Annual titles will be given as well as accumulative (lifetime) titles. Because there are no fees to join or show, actual prizes will not be given.
15) Club Newsletter (Description, how often published, cost, etc.):
MHSC News is bi-monthly beginning with the October 1998 issue. It includes photo show schedules, new product reviews, and info on what's new from the various model manufacturers. To subscribe (and become a member of MHSC) you must send six (6) business-sized self-addressed stamped envelopes with one U.S. thirty-two cent stamp on each one. This will give you a year's subscription and membership. To renew, simply send 6 more SASE's!
16) Cost to Advertise (members/nonmembers):
To keep the size of the newsletter to one page, we are currently not accepting advertising. If membership grows, we may change this to accomodate ads.
17) Are Registrations Required to show:
Registration is not required to show.
18) Any Special Membership Requirements:
Only membership requirement is that you subscribe to MHSC News for a minimum of six issues (one year) in order to stay active.

Club organizer/Pointkeeper: Lisa Hayes. I keep track of every horse's points that place in an MHSC show, put together the newsletter, and keep things running smoothly so we can all enjoy showing!
