No matter what breeds or brands you are interested in, there are many others just like you who have been captivated by model horses. Whether you are interested in playing with them, participating in photo, online or real live model horse shows, just love admiring the little critters, or seriously into collecting expensive pieces of artwork of the equine, we are delighted to welcome you to our club and hope you will enjoy getting to know the many other people who are already involved with the AIMHC.
6) List of Special Sections/Areas, if any (Ex.-Novice, Junior, Intermediate):
We have sections in most shows and in the Annual Horse of the Year awards for Novice and Juniors, but generally everyone competes together.
7) Do you meet or are you a mail club?
The AIMHC is essentially a mail in club, however members occassionally get together at Live shows held around Australia.
8) If you meet, where do you meet(City, State, etc.):
There are live shows (and hence get togethers! near most Capital Cities

Varies
10) Cost to Join:
There is no joining fee.
11) Dues:
Australian members AUD$15 per annum. New Zealand/Asia Pacific $20.00 per annum, USA/Canada $23.00 per annum, UK/Europe $26.00 per annum, Other countries please enquire! Joint memberships allowed, however extra fees apply if you require more than one magazine.
12) Shows Held Photo/Live(Type, How Often, etc.):
Numerous photo shows are held throughout the year. The AIMHC has four large photo shows each year, plus other photo shows held by members, plus an annual online show and Live. Members are welcome to advertise their own shows in the magazine for no charge, although size limits apply.
13) Cost to Show:
Photo shows cost bewteen $2-$3 normally, Live shows generally have a per model entry fee of about 50cents per class.
14) Awards Given (Type, Monthly, Annually, etc.):
The AIMHC Annual Highpoint Horse of the Year Awards have an array of great prizes on offer, including model horses, trophies, ribbons, garlands, certificates, etc.
15) Club Newsletter (Description, how often published, cost, etc.):
Newsletters are released four times annually and are packed full of model gossip, news from both Australia and Overseas, results from shows, programs for upcoming shows and other events, advertising, how to articles, and much more! Published in black and white A4 page format and consists of around 35-40 pages.
16) Cost to Advertise (members/nonmembers):
Each member may submit two 100 word classified ads per newsletter for free. Additional classifieds may be submitted for $1.00 each. Additional Advertising Rates:Black and White Full Page Ad $ 5.00, Half Page Ad $ 2.50, Quarter Page Ad $ 1.50, Colour advertising can be arranged – please enquire for prices.

Yes, if you want to participate in the HOTY or National ROM.
