To promote pedigree assignment and education about color genetics, bloodlines, and breed types.

None...all members compete in the same area.

Mailing club only...although we do have yearly meetings at Breyerfest and Jamboree to chat and recruit new members (as well as swap s/d lists!)

BF (Lexington) and Jamboree (some city in California!

Twice a year

$8.00 a year

All dues are covered in the $8.00 yearly cost

12 photo shows (monthly) as well as a championship National photo show which is held in December and judged by a guest outside judge.

Free...part of the yearly dues.
14) Awards Given (Type, Monthly, Annually, etc.):
Recognition is given to high point earners of each breed yearly. We also compete to win silver and gold medallion status for our sires and dams. These awards are given to sires and dams who have foals who have been winning a great deal.
15) Club Newsletter (Description, how often published, cost, etc.):
Bloodlines is a bi-monthly newsletter published by our editor, Lesli Kathman. It covers controversial topics in pedigree assignment, bloodlines, breed types, photos of famous sires and dams, book reviews, s/d listings, pedigrees, and much more. All members are entitled to all issues of Bloodlines at no additional cost.
16) Cost to Advertise (members/nonmembers):
1/3 page ads are sold for $1.00 an ad (with a limit of one per issue). Nonmembers may not advertise in Bloodlines, but the Editor or President may print pertinent material if they choose. Classifieds are free to members. Ad credit is also given to those who write articles for Bloodlines.
17) Are Registrations Required to show:
Yes. Members must send a list of all models wishing to be registered to the registrar. No numbers are needed on photo backs...we just like to keep track of who has registered! :)

All registered horses are automatically entered into our club wide stud and hire books. These books are available at the end of the year for a small fee. Points are also automatically tracked by the President and tallied...all you need to do is show and have fun! :)
