 Hi Everyone,

Here is my current list of horse (plus a few dog) books and magazines for sale. Depending on where you view this, you may find a more current list at http://home.comcast.net/~lizstrauss/

Model horses for sale are also listed at http://home.comcast.net/~lizstrauss/home.htm

All books are hardcovers with no dust jacket unless otherwise specified. Books are *not* ex-library unless stated. First editions are determined by "A Pocket Guide to the Identification of First Editions", 5th revised edition. Minimum order is $5, before shipping.

Shipping is not included, and starts at $2.47 for a small/medium weight hardcover or $2.13 for most paperbacks, for book rate. I can ship by priority mail, if you are in a hurry. I don’t add any handling fees, and use recycled materials to ship. E-mail holds are good for one week. Please list by author (preferably in alphabetical order!), and if I list more than one of each title, be sure to specify exactly which one you want.

I can accept payment with checks, money orders, and non-credit card PayPal. Minimum order is $5 before shipping.

I have lots of positive feedback on eBay, listed at http://cgi2.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&userid=lizstrauss

This is one of those books were you are supposed to peel off color stickers (included) and affix them to the relevent pages of the book. There are 44 lovely color stickers by Sam Savitt. They are arranged on 4 pages in the book, 2 at the front and 2 at the back. I got 6 books, still shrink-wrapped together, from a sort of estate sale situation. These books must be from the 1960s or ‘70s (original price on cover is 89 cents), and had never been opened. When I opened them I found that each set of two color stickers had stuck together. So you can only actually see the top page of each 2-page section, which includes 24 stickers/stamps. Ten more stickers are reproduced on the back cover, but you do miss out on viewing the other 10 altogether. The stamps are pretty, and in color, and the ones you can see include Man o’War (head shot), a Lipizzan in Levade, a standing Clydesdale superimposed against a plaid background (!), a gorgeous golden chestnut Saddlebred, a palomino circus liberty horse, a bay TWH plantation walker, the Darley Arabian, etc. Only have one copy left! $5
