Welcome to my newest
list. I add to it all the time, so keep in touch. Let me know if you're looking
for a particular model- I have some stuff I haven't gone through yet! I have
digital viewing photos of most of these, so if you are on-line, feel free to
ask to see them. Please e-mail if you want more information. If you don't know
what a mold looks like- ask! I will hold models for 7 days.
Shipping cost is additional. I
can ship through either the post office or UPS. Please e-mail me with the models you want, and your shipping
address, and I’ll pack them up and weigh them for you. I don’t charge any
handling fee, just the actual postage amount.
No returns on "new in the
box" models if they have been removed from the box or twisted around on
their ties.
You can e-mail me at lizstrauss@comcast.net E-mail holds are good for one week.

HORSES
Hartland
6” Standing/Walking Horse (with molded-on tack) repainted glossy white with a
few dapples, silver hooves. Not at all live show quality, but there is
something very appealing about the primitive paint job. Seam on back is
splitting. From my own collection. $3
Hartland
5” Arab Mare in shaded gray with black points. Lots of rubs. This is such a
nice, refined mold she would be good as a repaint project. A variation from my
own collection. $5
Hartland
7” Thoroughbred Grazing Mare in glossy shaded bay. Excellent condition, very
pretty! $12
Hartland
7” Tenessee Walking Horse Stallion in glossy palomino, vvg-excellent condition.
Has a couple not-very-noticeable pinhead-sized rubs, both on the right
(non-glamor side). One is at the back of the elbow, and the other is low down
on his barrel. He also has a couple stray flecks of black factory paint, and
body color overspray on the right side of his tail. Only made for a few years
in the mid-1960s, these are hard to find. From
my own collection. $30
Hartland
9” Chubby in Creamy Dun (with brown points)- Dale Evans’ mount. Excellent
condition- has some hoof edge wear and small rubs on the tips of his mane. Has
painted-on bridle and breastcollar. No reins or saddle. A variation from my own
collection. $20
Hartland
9” Polo Pony in dark bay with a blaze, eyewhites, and white leg and tail wraps.
Has scuffs on the high places, plus a scratch on his left barrel (plastic
underneath is brown, so these things don’t show too much), and some old
adhesive on the left side of his back which would probably come off if you
worked at it. Seams are nice and tight. $12
Hartland
9” Semi-Rearing (Horse/Rider Horse) Horse in glossy chestnut, with three white
stockings, mane up version. Made approximately 1953-1963. This was the mount
for Buffalo Bill, Jim Hardie, and Cheyenne. Has original reins. I think one of
his owners got a little creative with him: his left hind hoof is painted black
(and I believe it should be white), he has only the remnants of a white
stocking of that leg (and he should have a stocking to match the other legs),
and he has no blaze, but there is a tiny bit of white paint remaining on his
face and nostrils. I think someone added the black hoof and removed the white
stocking and blaze. Still, he’s pretty and glossy, and I had him for years
before I noticed anything unusual about him. $24
Hartland
9” Semi-Rearing (Horse/Rider Horse) Horse in glossy chestnut, with blaze and
white stockings, mane up version. Made approximately 1953-1963. This was the

2007 Rocky
Mountain Model Horse Expo Special Run Crown Jewel. Crown Jewel is the Peter
Stone Windswept Arab in a lovely glossy dapple gray, painted and signed by Ed
Gonzales. She is a mare! She comes complete with some dark red flea
bites and a blaze with a large pink snip. Very nice except for a faint rub
under the gloss towards the back edge of her left hind cannon bone (someone who
has worked at the Stone Company says it must have happened when it was picked
up for glossing). Very nice otherwise. I rejected one with big streaky
flea bites, and another one with an improperly attached forelock before
choosing this one. There were 30 Crown Jewels made, 15 in matte and 15 in
glossy finish. $225

OTHER
MODELS:
Deb
Lenzner resin Quarter Horse Mare, painted by the sculptor to a softly shaded
rose gray, two white socks and star. Very sweet expression. Makes a great
performance model. Traditional size. Marked #39/200, but only 72 were made.
$145
Kottilian
resin, sculpted by Sarah Minkiewicz-Breunig, and painted to a golden dun or
buckskin with a blaze and 2 white socks by Sandi Bendel-Gaertner. This mold is
5.5” high, between Little Bits and Classic scale. Mold run of only 50, and you
definitely had to be in the right place at the right time to get one. Sarah
painted a few herself, and hand-picked 4 other artists who would do the
remainder. This one would make a great Akhal-Teke cross but she has never been
shown. Sarah uses a photo of her on her web site as an example of a Kottilian
by Sandi. The Kottilian mold is pegged onto the base, and the bottom of the
right hind fetlock is turned under, and rubs on the base. Sandi e-mailed me to
say she was trying to prevent this from happening by the extra application of
some sort of sealer, but this Kottilian has a rub there anyway (in the white
part, so would be an easy touch-up). You can’t see it unless you take her off
the base and turn her upside down, so it really isn’t a problem. Also, there is
a faint streak of some sort of clear gloss on her right side, behind her
shoulder. I didn’t even notice it until it showed up on one of my photos (just
ask, and I’ll e-mail them to you) and went looking for it. $605 including
shipping and insurance within the U.S.
Power
Steering resin, a traditional-sized cutting horse sculpted as a collaborative
between Chris Nandell and Carol Williams. This one (not sure if they all were
like this) is a mare. Painted a dreamy lightly dappled buckskin overo by Sarah
Minkiewicz-Breunig. Live show champion, and top tenned at the NAN the one time
she showed there, and comes with her ribbon. Mint condition. Meticulously
prepped by Sarah herself. A Power Steering won a Reserve National Championship
in halter at the NAN in 2006. $1135 including shipping/insurance within the
U.S.
Orson
resin, sculpted by Kristina Lucas-Francis. Originally sculpted as a Cleveland
Bay, this one has a gorgeous shaded palomino paint job, done as a collaboration
between Julie Kuiper and Tom Bainbridge. Very sporty with 4 white socks and an
unusual large blaze which has a dark spot in it. Comes with one expired NAN
card. Only shown 2-3 times. This was a run of 100 pieces, and is approximately
Classic-scaled. Mint condition. $510 including shipping/insurance within the
U.S.
Kristina

Border
Fine Arts Thoroughbred with factory custom paint job. Now a stunning, jazzy
semi-leopard liver chestnut Appaloosa Sport Horse. This HUGE horse is sculpted
by Anne Wall, and stands 11 1/2" tall and over 12" long. This is a
very large and impressive piece ar a giveaway price. The regular colors
retailed for over $500, but the run, of 1500 pieces, is now sold out. A pinto
factory custom sold for $1200 at Breyerfest 1999. Those two are the only factory
customs I've heard of on this mold. BFA does very few factory customs. Here's
your chance to own a one-of-a-kind model that can also be shown as original
finish at some shows. BFA factory customs have won NAN Championships. This
guy arrived from the U.K. with a broken tail which has now been professionally
repaired, including the insertion of a large brass rod for future stability. It
won't be breaking again! He comes with his original box, and certificate.
His base pegs securely onto his wooden plinth. Very detailed mold- the
horseshoe nails and front clips in the hooves are even slightly raised, and all
the tiny buckles, keepers, and holes in the bridle are sculpted in. He comes
with his original foam insert box, and certificate. $500 plus actual shipping

Hagen-Renaker #452 Mini mini Stallion
in glossy buckskin, discontinued 1992. Very teensy glaze flake off right
eartip, plus right eartip appears to have an even teensier area of color
missing, which I think is under the glaze. Easy touch-up and you would never
know the color was missing on either ear. $10 including first class shipping
within the U.S.
Hagen-Renaker #A341 mini Standing
Drafter in Harness, glossy chestnut with gold bobs. Made Spring 1979- Fall
1985. Has a little glaze flake off the right ear edge, also paint flaws (looks
like some color was scratched off under the glaze) near right hip. $18
North Light Irish Draft in Dark Irish
Draft Dapple Gray. This beautiful model is from 1995, back before North Lights
were made in China. He was done at the peak of the company’s painting standards
(I heard that a bit later they fired their experienced painters and hired on
newbies to save money). Gorgeous eyes. This mold has very detailed braided tail
and mane. Live show champion for me under the name Burnside’s Brewing Storm. A
factory painted NL Irish Draft was NAN Champion a few years ago. Usually I
don’t save expired NAN cards, but I do have one for him. His price is way less
than what I bought him for new in 1995. $290
Royal Worcester Welsh Pony Head
